Hot Water

Many people like to just use hot water. This isn’t acceptable because you would have to boil the water to make it hot enough to fight bacteria and this isn’t going to be good for your silicone or jelly toys. The only toys this would be okay for would be glass dildos.

Anti-bacterial Soap

This isn’t a good idea at all because the ingredients that make up anti-bacterial soap would break down your PH levels. Never use Anti-bacterial soap on toys or on your genitals. This will cause the PH Levels to break down and you will get infection.

Don’t use anything

This is the worse idea. You would have infection and your toys would be worthless. And its gross.

There are quite a few brands out there and a few different types for your convenience.
Gel- More concentrated, put a little on, mix in a little water and clean your toy. You must be careful to not get your toys battery compartment wet.
Spray- My preferred method. Spray it on and wipe it off. Easy and cost effective.
Wipes- Wipes are similar to the spray but not as cost effective. The wipes are great for travel however.

So go out and take care of your health and your toys by using toy cleanser. I understand that people would like to spend their money on their toys and not its cleanser, but just as you need socks for your shoes. It is a must.
